Hail must have fallen during my absence this afternoon. However; there was no evidence of rain in late afternoon and rain gauge - 6' from hail pad was dry at 7:30 on 7/19/2012 when tents on hail pad were discovered?!
(This looks like it was probably from a very small shower. There's only one pock mark I would attribute to hail on this pad. Rain marks appear to be prevalent. If the gauge was empty by the next morning there must not have been much rain either. P.G.) |
