Notes: |
This hail report was relayed to me by my friend Bill Herriman who observed the hail. He is a potential future cocorahs observer. He observed the hail from his home in Middletown Maryland. He lives at the corner of Jasper Dr and Feldspar Rd.
The geographic coordinates are:
39°25'46.1676"N 77°30'54.1476"W
I had to make a few assumptions on some of the data, the time was accurate as to when the hail was occurring, but I wasn't given an exact duration as to how long the hail occurred. And I don't really know what the actual type of hailstones fell, and when the hail fell in relation to the rainfall. The actual hail size was reported to me as "bigger than rock salt, not as big as mothballs."
If you have any questions about this report, please consult with me. Thank you, Kevin Shaw |
