Did not have pad out. Hail covered the ground at a density of 1 every square inch or more. The ground was mostly white. Pictures were taken. Started with pea six, very heavy for 4 minutes or so. Then 1/2 inch hail mixed in for about 3 minutes. Light rain during this. The 3/4 to 7/8 inch hale, about 3% or the total fell intermittently for 1.5 minutes. The sun was shining at this time. The storm was moving directly from west to east over this station. Rainfall total not counting the melting hail was .2 inches in 15 minutes. |
