Hail started at 5:51pm at Conifer, intersection of Jeffco73 and US285. Hard white 3/8" hail stones until 5:58pm. Then followed heavy rain with white slush for 2.5 miles west on US 285 at 6:06pm. Ran into dry pavement at that point. Then, at 6:18pm heading south on Jeffco 126 from Pine Junction downpour with rice & pea sized hail all the way thru Pine Grove (Pine). From there moderate rain south for approx 6 miles. Light rain from there to my home. |
