Hail reported to Nation Weather Service as CH-115 Maysville. Large hail started around 7:12pm; hail after 7:20 pm pea and rice size. Rain rates as high as 5.54"/hour between 7:20-7:25. Very intense storm at times. Most aspen leaves have numerous holes; some leaves mostly shredded. New crabapple tree lost 1/4 of it's leaves. Hail stones had a mixture of clear and white ice. At times hail seems to be falling at 45 degrees and striking windows of house. Wind predominately from North, with high wind gust of 28 mph and high sustained wind speed of 18 mph. Added count. CK |
