My first time recording hail. It hailed hard but quickly. About an inch accumulated in my yard in the open area. It built up on my west facing wall about 4" deep because the storm came from the southwest. I put a 2'x4' sheet of insulation out in the yard. The hail completely covered it. The larger dents were mostly .25" to .5" apart on it but it was hard to tell exactly where all the dents were. The stove exhaust vent on the side of my house has some dents in it now but that was ll the damage I could find. I scooped some hail into a Tupperware bowl and put it in my freezer for now. |
