My apologies for this late report. Our southern weather center reports in at 59 degrees Fahrenheit and rising, while the northern one reports in at 58 degrees Fahrenheit and rising, but it feels like 61 degrees Fahrenheit. We are overcast, comprised of Nimbostratus. We began receiving steady rainfall around 7:52 am. We also have a lowered ceiling, estimated at 996 feet above sea level with fog settled in lower elevations including the Sandy River valley. Direction of travel remains unclear. In addition, we are experiencing 2-5 mph winds, currently 2 mph, approaching from 179 degrees south by southeast, and alternating from 217 degrees south by southwest, and alternating yet again from 270 degrees due west. Visibility stretches up to an estimated 4 statute miles north, west, and south, our RH hangs at 90% and falling, and our Dew point is 58.35 degrees Fahrenheit and falling. HG: 29.11 / MB: 985.7738381859999 and holding steady. 10:50 am: Since yesterday's report, we have received an additional 0.72" of rain. 5:10 pm: We began receiving light rainfall. 6:00 pm: We have begun to experience heavy rainfall. It lasted no more than two minutes. At 6:14 pm, we received an additional 0.18" of rainfall. 7:10 pm: Our heavy rainfall ceased about twenty minutes after my last post, and we just began receiving moderate rainfall. 7:25 pm: Our moderate rainfall increased to heavy rainfall. 7:31 pm: Our heavy rainfall, has upgraded to violent rainfall wit a second addition: lightning/thunder. 7:40 pm: Our violent rainfall decreased to heavy rainfall. 7:59 pm: Our heavy rainfall decreased to moderate rainfall; though thunder and lightning continue to their ensemble.
