 07-14-24: High 89, Heat Index 100, Dew Point 77, Low 69, wind calm-26 mph w/gusts 38 mph. Morning rain 8am thru 11am 0.23 and overnight THUNDERSTORM 2.22 total 2.45 in my gauge. Overnight weather radio warning were off the charts. Finally had to bury it in my sock drawer to get some sleep. In the this and that dept. Tornado sirens around midnight in Streator per Shaw Media and wind gusts at Peru and Morris Airport 64 to 67 mph. At 3:45am Rivers R Rising! Fox River in Dayton 9.45/flood stage 12. IL River at LaSalle 15.29/flood stage 20. At 4:47am: temp 68, wind SW 3 mph w/gusts 7 mph, dew point 66, humidity 94%. Normal 83/65. Sunrise 5:36am, Sunset 8:28pm.
