 At 8:30pm after primary storm with small hail (hail report also submitted), my 4" gage with funnel/tube had 0.94", while an open 4" gage had 1.01" due to hailstone bounce-out from the former. Both gages collected another 0.03" of light rain after 8:30pm. My 1.04" daily precip report uses the larger open gage collection.
