 Partly cloudy skies, T47F, wind WNW 12 mph, gusts 24 mph, DP41F, humidity 80%. A Tornado Watch was issues for my location yesterday afternoon and a Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued at 6:43 PM. Observed heavy rain, no hail and below severe criteria wind. The forecast high today is 58F. October precipitation (MTD) is only 1.22". Very heavy rain is forecast for the weekend through Monday with early predictions of 4-6" which would put a sizable dent in the rainfall shortage for the year.
