Over the past two weeks, there has been about an inch of rain at this site, but until tonight nothing after April 2, a period of warm, sunny and dry days. Media have been warning daily of high fire danger. Squirrels and other small animals have been active. Forsythia is in full bloom, and lawn grass has started to grow. Lettuce and green onions have been planted on the site, and many plants are budding, with a few (including dandelions) in bloom. Vehicular traffic has increased noticeably and vaccinations continue to take place at a growing rate. Business at restaurants, now open to full capacity with distancing, is lively.
