The ground is soft and pliable especially now that last weekend's snow has melted in.  We ended up receiving 2.1 in. of snow by Saturday, but it is all gone now.  Moles are active in the soft dirt despite it being middle of Winter.  It has been cold and windy this week, but not too bad so the heat has been running.  Birds have still been enjoying the bird feeders and seed spread on the ground.
