Condition Monitoring Report
Station Number: KS-SG-116
Station Name: Goddard 0.7 N
Report Date: 11/22/2020
Submitted: 11/22/2020 7:40 AM
Scale Bar: Near Normal
Description:
0.24 inches of rain since last report. All of it came Saturday in a long, protracted event. Rate was slow and allow nearly all of it to soak into the ground. Little runoff. This makes the the ground muddy for this observation. This is the case down to 6 inches. Still going with near normal as the creeks and ponds are still below normal. Temperatures have not been warm enough to allow the evaporation required to dry the soil out (at least in my area as I have clay soil which seems to need temps in the upper 70s and higher to allow that. Wheat looks really good and will likely start going into its dormancy soon. No changes to wildlife patterns from last week. Rain we have been getting is only provided enough moisture not change the conditions much if any.
