Station Name: Plainwell 0.5 WSW
Report Date: 11/22/2020

Scale Bar: Near Normal
Description:
We had 0.16" of precipitation this week that came in the form of rain and a trace of snow. Temperatures this week started seasonably cold and ended unseasonably warm: daily low temperatures averaging 34 F (daily lows ranged from 25 to 51 F); and daily highs averaged 46 F (daily highs ranged from 36 to 61 F). Most leaves are down, even the oaks have dropped their leaves earlier than usual this year. A few sparrows, chickadees, titmouse, cardinals, a woodpecker and some blue jays have been observed at the bird feeder, but bird feeder activity has been low. Moles now appear to be less active in lawns as temperatures have cooled. Squirrels have been very active gathering acorns and walnuts.
