The very dry conditions continued this week with not a hint of moisture around. The surrounding areas are brown. It was a warm week during the days with nights cooling off nicely but no frost or freezing temperatures yet. The high of the week was 82° on Tuesday and Wednesday and the low was 36° on Monday. Even with the warmer than normal temperatures, the trees are changing color with golds and reds in the neighborhood. The vegetable garden has slowed down or stopped. The only thing producing are the tomatoes but they are also slowing down. The waterlilies seem to starting to go dormant in the pond. Still seeing water insect activity though. Seen a lot of geese flying in the sky but heading in the direction of northwest (?).
