Station Name: Durham 4.5 N
Report Date: 11/19/2018
Submitted: 11/19/2018 9:10 AM
Scale Bar: Moderately Wet
Description:
In the past week, we received 3.93 inches of precipitation. Yesterday, there was standing water still in the backyard which tends to be flat. The low wet spot is muddy and I was able to leave a discernible footprint without any exertion. The Shagbark Hickory leaves have mostly fallen. A few remain on the lower branches. There is a remaining cluster of them near the top 10 feet of the tree. The Pyracantha berries have yellowed a bit and there is more brown on the bottoms of the berries. The Rose Bush has 8 flowers that are in bloom and about 2 dozen that have seen better days. The Gardenia leaves appear darker and there are no flowers on the Glossy Abelias. The Holly Bush berries are bright red with the largest being 8 mm in diameter. The Juncos are here and the birds have been feeding a lot.
