Reliable moderate rainfall maintains great conditions for gardens.  1st planting of sweet corn knee high. A few green tomatoes on outdoor plants.  Native grasses in hay meadows have matured and browned.  Columbia brome and timothy would still make good hay.  More milkweed flowering than I have seen before.  Few Monarchs and no monarch larvae or herbivory on plants.  Visitors to Lake Michigan beach continue to increase as water temp now in mid-60's. Seeing plenty of fawns, but not many twins.
