We have had very little rain this week until a very good downpour thunderstorm July 4 afternoon. Mostly have had dry thunderstorms this past week. 
Wildflowers are beginning to die back, hummers are very active as are songbirds. Robin is extremely agitated when you come near her 2nd clutch nest under the deck. 
Western flycatcher is active but I do not see her nest. All songbirds are very active in the two birdbaths. 
Yearling bear was in yard early morning 3 weeks ago, have not seen him since. Pine pollen dissipated earlier this past week. Did not seem as plentiful as 2024. Timeframe shifted forward a day from June 12 beginning June 13, and ending one day later on June 22 instead of June 21 as it did in 2024.
