Conditions have changed to mildly dry.  Typical hot humid summer weather continues for the Fourth of July weekend.  Rainfall has decreased over the last two weeks, below average for July but near to the yearly average.   Biting insects are especially bad this season.  Birds and deer are very active.  Numerous fawns are present roaming the woods with their moms and eating everything.  People are out in the mornings but less active in the hot afternoons.
