General: We're close to our 4 year average of 19.168" to date: We're at 18.11" for the year.
Agriculture: Crops are planted now, and waiting.
Energy: Yesterday we produced 100.76 kWHR and used 31.02 kWHR. This is the point when solar power shines...no heater, no air conditioner, just sunshine!
Fire: risk is increasing, of course. Still low, though.
Plants/wildlife: We saw, for the first time in our entire 26 years here, a great blue heron on Buckskin! Birds are increasing, as are insects, and they are welcome. We realize that there has been a crash of honeybees nationwide, and we are trying to increase the plants that are desired by insects.
Water: So far, so good. We'll probably be an inch low going into summer
