3.65" of rain in one day last week along with brief showers throughout the next two days have left things quite moist. Local streams are at all time highs for this date as this water drains away. There was some minor flooding in the area. The temperatures have been somewhat below normal. That, along with the rain, means that lawns are doing well. m Trees are pretty much fully leafed out. Our peonies are starting to fully blossom. Nothing unusual in the wildlife department except for a couple of red-winged blackbirds that are still hanging around (the local habitat isn't what they are supposed to prefer).
