Soil temperatures, for the period, at 2” have averaged 51.7 degrees, 4” average is 51.7  degrees, 8” average is 53.3 degrees and 20” average is 51.6 degrees. +4.6 overall increase, on average, from the previous period.

Spring weather continues with warmer temperatures and very high pollen readings. Precipitation was slight below normal for the week, so continued below normal for both the Water Year and Calendar Year. However, short term Soil moisture is normal at 4 inches and wet at 8 inch depth. 

 Birds are frequenting the bird feeder. Geese are have nested and have goslings, Robins have returned and are nesting and the squirrels and rabbits are out often.  Lawns are green and growing, with the mowing about once per week. Bulb plants growing starting to flower, rhubarb and peonies are growing, some trees still are in bud stage, with other trees leafing out. Flowering trees are blooming or in full bloom.
