Condition Monitoring Report
Station Number: FL-ES-24
Station Name: Pensacola 18.9 WSW
Report Date: 5/5/2025
Submitted: 5/05/2025 10:12 AM
Scale Bar: Near Normal
Description:
After receiving almost 5 inches of rain in 2 days, we are back to near normal. The ground sucked up all the rain - no puddles! All the Oak and Hickory tassels are gone - all washed out of the trees. What a relief that is - no more mess on the decks, cars, and driveways. Garden is good and productive though honeybees are scarce. Blue Birds are on their 2nd go round of nests. Beach traffic is getting heavier. Soon our area will belong to the tourists until September. More rain is expected during the week so I would expect the ICW, and Perdido Bay to show more river and land runoff; it could cause for an elevated bacteria count with regard to swimming.
