This past week saw more precipitation than we've seen in a while with 1.15" accumulating across four days.  This helped green up some of the trees and will add some much needed moisture to the ground.  I heard loons on Question Lake this morning; that's a sure sign spring is here.  While the wild birds are present the moose remain elusive although before long we should see them with their spring calves.  Thus far it has been a rather dry but seasonal spring season.
