Received about 1.6 inches rainfall in the past week as temperatures averaged nearly four degrees above normal. After the rush of field work the previous week, that has slowed considerably. Lawns are green and growing. Mowed an area of taller grass on Thursday, checking the mower for proper operation. A mature bald eagle and young offspring hung around the house for an hour or so Friday morning. Those birds are BIG. So far for April 3.54 inches of rain. Tomorrow will be my 5000th CoCoRaHS observation. Time flys.
