Spring continues to progress with overall warmer temperatures and less precipitation. The rain gauge collected 0.26 inches of precip this week, all in the form of rain. This morning the temperature dipped to 30 causing some frost but otherwise temperatures have remained above freezing. Lawns are greening up and growing so mowing has begun. Trees are taking on a greener hue and ornamental trees are in full blossom. The redbud trees are now in their full splendor and the tulips are beginning to blossom. Seasonal nurseries have opened for business. Standing water is now gone but surface soils remain moist. Conditions appear normal.
