I received 0.29" of rain the end of this week and I expect the rain to continue today. I am not ready to move my condition to Near Normal yet because my water year totals are on the dry side. The grass is growing, and I had to mow this week. Two of my apple trees are blooming which is a little early this year. The pond is stable with just a little overflow and the local creek is flowing about normal.   Mother goose has been sitting on her nest for about 3 weeks, so in a week or so the pond should have new life, baby geese. Our farmer friends were working in the fields this last week and some planting has started. I have moved my plants outside from their winter home on the sun porch. I hope that we get more soaking rains this week!
