Conditions are drier than usual for this time of year. We received 0.03” this week and the last two weeks. Temperatures have been normal with highs in the 70s and sunny most days. Soil moisture seems low and I’m having to water the garden due to lack of moisture which is unusual for April. Streamflows and water levels are lower than expected since we’ve not had any significant rain in more than two weeks. Plant and crop growth is still pretty good even with the lower than expected rainfall. Fire danger is moderate since there has been some significant wind.
