The past week only saw 0.12" of rain.  This station 53% of NOAA monthly normal, and the low 70th percentile for both YTD and Water YTD.  Grass is green but slow growing.  A look at the garden found the topsoil dry and cracked, with low moisture a few inches down.  Area farmers have begun some till work and the conditions were dusty as they turned up the soil.  NWS is forecasting a healthy shot of rain today, but it seems like every time the chance comes, it seems to bypass this area.  I certainly hope to not have to shift to Moderately Dry, but if this area does not see any real moisture soon, I believe that will become the case.
