Soils are nicely moist and “tell” areas over on the bog are starting to hang on to surface water more than 24 hours after a rainfall event. Everything is growing vigorously. Pond level is normal; wildlife activity is normal other than the fact that there are diving ducks hanging around longer than in the past and the number of cormorants on the pond seems unusually high.
