dust from crop fields in the air, haven't had any significant moisture for weeks, playas and ponds are dry.  In general for home gardening extremely dry. Not much new growth of anything.  Last year it was so hot and dry with grasshopper infestation I'm just waiting to see how many plants were destroyed last year. Not even the kochia grew last year so lots of bare dirt and grasshoppers ate every plant and strip the bark off of some bushes so I just have to wait and see what lived.  I hope we start getting some moisture.  Just last night we had 20 moisture and hoping for more
