30 March 25: After rain on several days this past week conditions are fairly wet. Turf on ground with relatively high organic matter is soft underfoot and damp, but not releasing water under foot pressure. Not so for turf on lower organic matter soil which releases water under foot. Drain tiles 12 to 18 inches deep flowing heavily. Puddles forming on low ground. Sinkholes full and ponds full to the point of overflow.
