Temperatures in the low 60's and clouds to start the week before temperatures quickly rose to the 70's. The warmest day was Tuesday with a high of 77°. Highs stayed in the 70's a few days before dropping closer to normal and back in the low 60's. Lows ranged from 28° on Monday to the 30's and 40's the rest of the week. The week ended with a lot of clouds at times and windy with no precipitation falling last week. Trees are now starting to bud out in the area with aspens, willows, and crabapples putting on growth. The forsythia is starting to bloom and the redbud is getting close. Harvested the first asparagus out of the garden. Saw a robin in the yard for the first time and green/yellow finches. Some Cassin finches are also building a nest and the scrub jay is frequently in the yard. Also, saw a rabbit on a morning walk.
