This week's rain gauge catch is 0.35", putting us at 3.79" for the month, nearly an inch behind our average of 4.63." Still, dry conditions don't seem to be having an outsized impact just yet. Lawns are starting to get shaggy with early weeds. Azaleas and dogwoods are blooming in force and songbird activity is at typical spring time levels along with bees and other insects doing their thing. Low humidity and brisk winds keep pushing us into fire caution warnings. Temps have been moderate.
