The .93" rain on Thanksgiving Day somewhat eased our drought conditions. it was the first significant rain since 11/21 and 10/08! Red flag fire warnings ended. "Road may flood" signs along riverfront streets warn motorists of an almost-every high tide occurrence. Most trees have shed their leaves. Winter temps arrived 11/29, but didn't chill post-Thanksgiving shopping, dining & Christmas festivities. Parking is impossible downtown. Only 23 days to Christmas. Happy holidays!
