Mild weather prevailed this week with very little rain on turkey day.  The lawn is in good shape with moisture.  Flower beds need irrigation to settle transplants into the soil.  First goldfinches have arrived with the coldest temperatures this season so far.  Squirrels are carrying off pecans and acorns to hide for winter.  Ditches are dry.
