Conditions continue as mildly dry.  We received about 2.3 inches of rain this month.  Cold weather has moved in and more "seasonal normal" temperatures are forecast for next week.  People are out walking in the brisk air and most leaves have fallen.  Small streams are flowing at low levels and overall the ground is moist. Albeit cold, the days are sunny and bright.
