Okay, no rain this week and plenty of sunshine as we wait for our first frost. Any gardening is irrigation assisted, and lawns are drying up, trees are going bare. This morning Lake Travis was still 45 feet below "full" and other local lakes similarly at below normal levels. Fire danger is rising daily. Rain is forecast for this week, but past expectations have not borne out very well.
