September ended normal in rainfall but for the year, we are 3.98" behind. Grass is dry despite regular watering and morning dew. Cracks remain in soil in areas. Trees have begun changing color. Creek level stable with a trickle of flow.  Squirrels very active but bird activity continues to diminish. No rain in sight.
