We had 0.61" of precipitation this week so far. The farm fields of second harvest of cabbage has been harvested as well as any remaining crops. The migrating birds are feasting on the remains as they travel south for the winter. All that remains is the uneaten fruit of the trees. More Juncos have arrived at my feeder telling me that the neighborhood gardeners have finally cleared their beds for the winter.
