Had some decent rain recently and we are about where we should be in terms of accumulation at this time of the year for this location. We had a short dry spell in the spring, but it has been rectified nicely. Local waterways exhibit normal stream flows and nearby farm fields are green with good crop production. The corn is way up and ready to be harvested. Our horses continue to enjoy abundant pasture. Lawns are green and still require mowing and leaves have just begun their annual ritual of color change. This is most evident in the tulip poplars and dogwoods that populate our landscape.
