This past week has been marked by winter conditions and we have now had more snow fall in March (19.1") than we had in January and February combined (about 16-17"). Our conditions this week have been Mildly Wet with a total of 0.96" of precipitation, with much of it falling as snow totaling 7.2". Our snowpack maximum was 5.0". Temperatures were mostly below average. The recent snowfall has brought more birds back to the bird feeder. Some snow drops are blooming. Yesterday (3/18/2023) had intense lake-effect snow squalls causing white-out conditions and icy roads that contributed to local traffic accidents/slide-offs, and traffic slow-downs.
