Despite 1.48" of rain this past week, and YTD totals at 0.53" above average, northeast Louisiana continues in a "near normal" condition. Cooler temperatures in the latter part of the week has not impeded growth, but forecasted nighttime temperatures in the low 30's and high 20's will require covering of newly planted vegetables and herbs.
