A wet week and month so far. This week 17.2" snow containing 2.77" of moisture. The storm did start as all rain, then change over. For the month 28" of snow and 4.53" of moisture. Some of the heaviest snow I have ever tried to move. This season's snow now above my long term average by a few inches at 66.9". This is mid March and the sun is strong, reducing the snow greatly with a couple sunny days. Already lawn showing along the drive edge in the sunny spots. Will not take many more sunny warm days to all be gone. Many birds with House Finches and Goldfinches now stopping regularly. Ski hills to the west received a lot of snow. A needed boost to the ski season.
