Description:
Campbell County had slipped back into D1 Moderate Drought today due to no rain during the past week and approximately 45 percentage normal rainfall during the past 75 days.  Licking and Ohio River low near pool stage.  Doe Run Lake Reservoir very low in Kenton Couny Kentucky.  Local streams and creeks are almost completely dry in both Campbell County and Kenton County.  There is a fire hazard with grilling, smoking cigarettes outdoors, etc.  Large diurnal temperature range with temperatures near freezing 0C in the early morning and near 15 C in the afternoon for elevations above 800 feet.  -5 C lows and 16 C highs for low lying areas particularly in the deep valleys with elevations below 500 feet.  Pond levels low to very low.  This could be a problem for cows and live stock at some local small farms that depend on pond water.  Based on Doe Lake Run Reservior, Kenton County is definitely also in D1 Moderate Drought.
