Severe drought conditions continue. The last week has only brought 0.07 inches of rain. Ponds are mostly dry or dry completely. One that had a very small amount of water in it yesterday had a turtle trying to swim in it. The puddle was barely big enough for the larger turtle. Flowers, yards, farms etc. continue to need supplemental water daily. Concerns with hot weather on the doorstep indicate that the lack of rain may become a major concern very quickly if not already.
