Notes: The low and high temps on the 1st were 69F and 81F, respectively. The weather, after the obs, on the 1st was mainly mostly cloudy with dry conditions. The skies overnight on the 2nd were overcast with gusty South winds, gusting up to 28 mph. Thunderstorms began after sunrise with light rainfall. The morning low temp was 60F (actual low for the day was 50F later in the evening). The weather on the 2nd became very stormy around the Louisville Metro area. The NWS put us in a Tornado Watch area and later in the afternoon a Tornado Warning with the sirens going off for a while. The storms increased mainly in the Southern Indiana area as the evening began. Too much to describe here so I'll leave it for social media to describe and report. The afternoon high temp was 79F. Overnight, on the 3rd, the skies remained overcast with some light drizzle. By morning the skies were mainly mostly cloudy with a low temp of 45F. The rain gauge had a total of 1.06 inches for the period. Currently, at this obs, the temp is 49F with a dew point temp of 33F. The skies are still mostly cloudy with SW winds at 21 gusting to 30 mph. The airport reports a wind chill temp of 42F.
