Welcome to the New Mexico CoCoRaHS page.
The CoCoRaHS network expanded to New Mexico in the spring of 2005. More volunteers observers and local coordinators are needed in all areas of our state. To join, click the "Join CoCoRaHS" link on the Main Menu to your left.
We now have a new State Coordinator. Dr. Dave DuBois who is the State Climatologist will be taking over the CoCoRaHS program for Leeann DeMouche. Leeann has left NMSU. Dr. DuBois contact information is listed below.

HAIL PADS: We now have hail pads available. If you would like to receive a hail pad please contact us if you would like to receive a hail pad at cocorahs@nmsu.edu.
YouTube Training Videos:
The NMSU YouTube training videos have now been posted. These 4 videos display useful training tips on how to properly use various CoCoRaHS tools, such as rain gauges and hail pads. Each video session last about 10 minutes and can be viewed on the New Mexico State University YouTube Network listed below. You will need to the search link using CoCoRaHS. Once you done a search all 4 videos will pop up for you to view. Video 1 is a brief introduction on the CoCoRaHS program. Video 2 is a brief training on how to measure and report Rain, Video 3 is on Hail and Video 4 is Snow. I hope you find them informative and useful.
