Rain for the week at this location was 0.33 in. and a couple of traces. May have been a bit more as it was usually breezy along with the rain. Top soil was sticking to the temp probe when checking soil temps this a.m. so there is more moisture in the soil then previous. We dogged a couple of bullets again this week with weather around us. The 120 around us was no till planted this week as was the neighbor to the West. Saw a lot of planting going on in travels. Mowed for the first time this week. Still have a bit to do. Eight hours on the mower for an 81 yr. old is a long day. Trees are finally budding out. Still watching a couple. Grass is doing good at this point. Rhubarb and Asparagus doing well. Flowers as well. Rain most day's or nights in the forecast for the coming week.
