Condition Monitoring Report
Station Number: CA-MD-45
Station Name: Mendocino 0.5 NE
Report Date: 4/28/2024
Submitted: 4/28/2024 6:41 AM
Scale Bar: Near Normal
Description:
Just a very small amount of rain since the last report--we are definitely entering the dry season and watering time. Well levels are fine, so there should be no water shortages this year, except for those with old very shallow wells. The strong north winds have returned and will be with us for a number of days. This tends to make the ocean too rough for water sports or fishing. Spring bloomers are starting to reach peak and lots of buds showing on summer bloomers. Starting to hear the calls of summer migrant birds. It's been a lovely Spring so far--we are fortunate here on the coast.
